UPDATE, OCTOBER 2013
I'm thrilled about the success of The Book Chook. The downside is all the approaches I get from people who want something from me. Most are looking for back links. As a blogger myself, I understand this, but my first responsibility is to the readers of my blog. Because of all the requests and emails I get, from October 2013 on, I will not respond to your pitch UNLESS I am interested.
You should understand my emphasis is on great children's literature, literacy and learning. You should share my philosophy of encouraging kids to learn in a natural way, by playing and having fun where possible. Perhaps you'll write about ideas that encourage kids to learn, or you'll have suggestions on apps that allow kids to create. Whatever you write should be clear, concise, and in an easy conversational style.
If you're interested in writing a guest post or review of a book or educational product for The Book Chook, contact me with your proposal via the Contact Me tab. All I can promise you if I publish your article is exposure to a growing global audience, plus a link to your own blog and/or website in your bio. It helps if you include a link to a writing sample, and a link to your website or product.
